Great Atmosphere. Good Service. Great Food. Expensive but totally worth it.

Wonderful crab cakes, service, and great waterfront view. Will definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area.

My daughter and I, in route to Fort Worth Texas, decided to get off the freeway in Monroe and find a decent restaurant to have some dinner. She pulled up the Waterfront Grill on Google so we decided to go there. I ordered a sweet potato and steamed broccoli and my daughter had the Bayou Quesadilla. We were both very satisfied with our meals. The restaurant sits on the Bayou DeSiard and offers outdoor seating and indoor seating with a nice view of the Bayou.

Catfish, shrimp and steak. Tons of food and it is all good! Worth going back to try everything.

Food was good. I ordered the pork chops. They were flavored well. The side salad was ok, but on the small side. Service was a little on the slow side, but friendly.

Gracious staff, great food, cool history and a delightful view. If you're near Monroe, this is well worth a visit. I adored the whole experience. The turtles playing around in the river are an added entertainment value. The BBQ shrimp and those burgers...yum!

Our Server Madison was so knowledgeable about the menu and was “Spot On” with everything. Awesome Crab Cakes. This was our first visit and we will definitely return for the Shrimp Rakee..... OMG!!! Soooo good. Brad was the Mgr. on Staff and what a Great Guy. We truly enjoyed our dessert — Bread Pudding with White Chocolate and ice cream on the side. Wow!!!! Thank you Madison.

I would drive 2 1 /2 hours for great food and the Waterfront Grill has awesome food my wife had the baked fish it was delightful I had shrimp and pasta it was cooked to perfection the homemade bread was perfect the service was outstanding employee super nice all greeted you yes or no sir yes mam you don't get that income restaurant these days and for me I will definitely go back to the Waterfront Grill.

The ribeye sandwich was perfectly cooked, the baked sweet potato was delicious and service was fast and friendly. It was raining, otherwise the patio would have been the spot to be.

The grilled porkchops had my heart. Loved the stuffed potatoes and shrimp poboy too. Great ambiance with a nice view of Bayou. Only complaint is the tight spacing. Overall had a really great experience.

A fun place on the water. Kind and attentive service. We were there for lunch so we had poboys and burgers...and two kiddos made use of a good selection on the kid's menu. Feeding the turtles was fun. Bring some quarters to get food for them or snag the lettuce from your plate to feed them

Blackened Red Fish was delicious, as good as any I've had in New Orleans. Great service. Location on the river and watching the sunset is memorable like something you see in the movies. 👍

This was our first time what an amazing place. Michael our server was so knowledgeable about the menu. He was so friendly and kind. I would definitely come back here again.

Service was great and food was excellent. We were with a graduation group with a reservation for 12. We ended up with 20vand the Waterfront Didn't blink an eye. We had so much fun.

The food was great. I ordered the BBQ oysters and catfish po'boy with a side salad. The price point was okay, but probably on par with similar waterfront properties. Good service. The restaurant has great views. It was storming during my visit but I imagine the view is beautiful on sunnier days. I also liked the souvenir to-go cup that I received. Recommended.

Order an extra bread as soon as you sit down. It tastes like Aunt Norma just pulled the butter out of the churn. The steak was slightly overdone with good seasoning. The asparagus was small and too bitter. The sauteed mushrooms were extremely good. The server, Schweinefus, was everything you'd want, smug and attentive but never intruding.

Wonderful food and wonderful service. The queso spinach dip is wonderful. The steaks are always great.

Good food, excellent servers, smaller than expected portions.If you're someone expecting "Catfish Cabin", this is not your place.

This place is a local favorite from what I understand. I was impressed for sure. Great food and you get to overlook the water while you eat. Best of both worlds in my book

They have good food. I love their shrimp po boy. My friend loves their salad. But all their food is good. The view is nice also.

Waterfront grill is one of our favorite places for both lunch and dinner. The views of the Desiard are beautiful where one can see water skiing and turtles. Yes that's right turtles. Easily 50 to 60 turtles because people feed them. Of course people should not feed them. Our favorites are the Samburgers & crab cakes.

Love waterfront the beast place honestly I love the place.I have nothing but good stuff to say their food is just amazing their Mac is amazing they put my favorite chips and their pickles are to die for and their loaded potatoes too.Also their pork and stake in getting hungry from desiring it no lie.

This place is a delight: the water view is lovely and the food and drinks superb. We stopped in this afternoon for drinks and snack after a movie. The Lemon Drop is a delicious blend of lemon juice and vodka- highly recommended. You can’t go wrong here!

Great place and location. Staff always great along with the food. The view and atmosphere are not bad either. One of my favorite stops in Monroe.

Waterfront Grill has been a favorite of my husband's for over 20 years when he was traveling for business. He has taken me there twice now, and I can see why he has always enjoyed it. The service staff is extremely friendly and the drinks and food are served in a very timely manner. The scenery is so calming and peaceful as we overlooked the Bayou DeSiard, trees, and wildlife as we dined. As neither of us were hungry for a full dinner, my husband ordered gumbo and rice and beans. I ordered their shrimp rahkee, appetizer size, and it was delicious. My husband's items were a bit too spicy for his taste, but other than that, all was delicious. We will definitely return.

Great service. Super flavors. Tender steaks. What's not to like? I'm ashamed to say I had never tried a steak here before tonight. Several others in my group were already fans of their steaks. I had always gotten seafood and was never disappointed. I now have a new favorite so I can have the best of both worlds. A tenderloin PLUS a side of their shrimp in a mushroom cream sauce that was MADE to go with a nice fork tender piece of choice beef. Trust me, DO IT!! Sadly I took a picture of my friends steak and not mine. Don't judge. ;-)

Its a nice friendly place. But we went expecting fried fish and shrimp especially buy the reviews I've read. Nothing is fried. So we ordered poboy bbq shrimp. With sauce. What we got was greasy asus dipping. The best part of this place is the view and the friendliness.

The meat on the ribeye sandwich was suitable for the center of the plate and was cooked and seasoned well. I suggest visiting before sundown so that you can enjoy the water view.

Rustic little restaurant right on the bayou with a great selection of Cajun and southern style dishes. All the appetizers are great, but the Catfish Desiard is in a class of its own. Definitely some of the best catfish I've ever had. Service was extremely friendly and quick as well. If I'm ever back in the area again, this is a mandatory stop for me.

Waterfront Grill is very good. It is very consistent at being good. Great ambience, great view of the bayou. For something extra special, there is an outdoor seating area when the weather is nice.

We happen to be passing through the city & stopped here! We've been craving it ever since but we are all the way in Dallas! Food was to die for & the bread pudding dessert yum!

Food was very good. Service was prompt, courteous....and helpful. The view was enjoyable ....and martini was strong. ALL IN ALL, TWO THUMBS UP
